A word Craig would often use when we were skiing/snowboarding together in deep powder or through the trees. I know he is smiling down on us and encouraging each of us to go for it without hesitation.
Those who knew Craig will tell you about his constant optimism when on the mountain to push his fellow skiers/snow boarders to do more than they thought they could and as a result, being able to enjoy higher levels of a skiing experience (I think this is one of the things I miss most about him).
I know I am a much better skier today because of his positive believe in me that I could handle that more difficult powder bowl if I just went for it with confidence! I still remember the time he convinced me to climb up to one of the bowls at Park City when inside I was saying “am I really climbing up a mountain” and being scared that I wouldn’t be able to handle it – then smiling big time as I was surfing down the bowl in powder. I never would have done this if it weren’t for Craig’s passion and encouragement.
Whether you knew Craig or not, you probably have a family member, friend, co-worker or someone you know that died or is suffering from this horrible cancer. Please consider sponsoring one of our skiers by making a donation (CLICK HERE to go to Skiers to Sponsor page and make a donation). There are a lot of great prizes you can win in our raffles just for making a donation.
Let’s be Epic in our lives and lets also make this charity event an Epic so we can truly Honor Craig’s memory.
